U25s 1-1 Berkhampstead U25s

By Chris Maloney

Butcher & Dickinson help team to impressive result

Our young U25 side held Berkhampstead to a draw at Birchwood, in a great game against a very strong, organised side. We wish Berkhampstead the best of luck next season in the Spartan Reserve League.

The game was exciting from the 1st minute, with Berkhampstead creating a lot of chances with some tidy football. The danger was dealt with by Jack Williams and Josh Dickinson at the back.
The game opened up in the second half, with both teams making changes in favour of Town. Tim Tabi and Kofi Osei strengthening the team in the second half.

A penalty was given to Berks from a tackle in the Town area by Tabi, only for him to equalise 10 minutes later with a well struck free kick.

Man of the Match was Sean Butcher.

Overall an excellent performance from the U25s, as they look ahead to another 6 friendlies in 3 weeks.
